Hope you can join us for another semester of the Washington Heights Jazz Choir. This choir is a fun, non competitive place where children have a good time singing while making new friends along the way. At our concerts, we are accompanied by some of New York's best jazz musicians.

Children learn the songs of the great American songbook. Songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen and many, many more.

Rehearsals at Cornerstone Center on 189th and Bennett Ave.

About the instructor: Louise Rogers - B.M. music education, music specialist at Medical Center Nursery School, jazz vocal instructor at Roxbury High school, director of the  Boys and Girls Club Jazz Choir in the Bronx. Jazz vocalist, clinician and guest artist for workshops, performance and residencies.
